Purple Rain Soccer Club

Who are we?

The Purple Rain Soccer Club is a  member of the Koinonia Soccer Association (KSA).  The name Koinonia comes from the Greek and means partnership or fellowship that embraces sharing relationships towards the well being of the community.  KSA is the largest independent soccer association in Shelby County.  The origin of the club name "Purple Rain" is not known, but we do know that young girls love the color purple.  The club was established in the mid 1980s and over the past twenty years has developed some of the region's leading soccer players organized in seven teams ranging between the ages of 8 and 16.  Purple Rain boasts some of the best coaches in the region who willingly volunteer their time and skills.
